Memorial Day Beach Trip

Our lives have changed much since out last Memorial Day! We took a trip to Panama City for Memorial Day Weekend:

We went for the weekend but found it so pleasant that we ended up staying for a week. We had a very relaxing time. Angie really enjoyed the change of scenery as well as not having to worry about house work while we were down there, and Bryan enjoyed tele-commuting from the balcony. Thanks to Angie's parents and brother for letting us use their condo!

Since our last update - Charlie went to his first Doctor's Appointment (5/21). He had grown an inch and weighed in at 6lbs, 12oz.  We figure he's gaining around an ounce a day and is probably well over 7lb's now! Life revolves around eating, sleeping, and pooping. His sleep schedule has been sometimes good, sometimes terrible, but lately seems to be mostly good. Last night he went 3.5 hours between feedings. So although still less sleep than Angie ever got before Charlie, still much better than some nights we've experienced recently! He's definately filling out - even has a little double chin - and during his awake times is very alert and curious. So far, parenting has been the most all-consuming, tiring thing Angie and I have ever undertaken but without a doubt one of the most fulfiling and joy-filled things. We love our "little man"!
